Tyrell is a third-year Ph.D. student at GSU in Rhetoric and Composition. His work has appeared in places such as "Obsidian: Literature & Arts in the African Diaspora" "Journal of Education & Policy," "The New Engagement" and "Punctuate: a nonfiction magazine" Tyrell has previously worked in his undergrad's writing center and has four years of in-class teaching experience, and students' cognitive and emotional development and personal achievement in their writing is always his number one goal from academic to creative work.
