Karen earned her MA in English Education and an MFA student in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry. She is passionate about writing and helps her students make writing accessible and relevant. Karen enjoys helping students through the process of writing. She builds on her students' strengths and helps them achieve their writing goals. She also works to build a safe, inclusive community of writers.
